What is IxTROVERSE?
IxTROVERSE . The ixtroverse is a source of curated music. (We’ve been pronouncing it “introverse”, but whatever sticks. The ‘x’ found its way in because this is a bit of an extrovert activity to share in such a public forum.) As individuals that spend as fair amount of time enjoying music, we’re listening to a lot of content. This is a platform to recommend content that stands out from the rest. We have done this for years on a personal basis, so we’re creating a location for ourselves and others to reference in their search for a better audio experience.
Why create this website?
We love music. We don’t just love it, we’re addicted to it. It is a drug we’ve been enjoying from quite a young age. This is not uncommon and those that share that feeling know how euphoric it can be to experience a moment with the right soundtrack. Whether it’s a workout song that pushes you harder, a quiet song to focus on what’s in front of you, or a party anthem that makes a chore disappear. But we also recognize many people don’t share that love for music, or the desire to search for it. And many people just don’t have the time to look. We’ve always enjoyed compiling music and curating personal collections. This website started during the pandemic (2020) as a new resource for family and friends, to reference the exceptional entertainment we find. We enjoy revisiting a track or a playlist, like reading an old journal entry or finding some old photos. It makes sense that others find value in being able to access curated entertainment for their indoor lifestyle. This is that effort to bring it all together.

This only exists on the Amazon links, and is not included in every recommendation. It’s one avenue to fund the publishing of this site, and minimizes ad displays.
